Jacs Cafe & Pizzeria

On one lovely spring day, we were driving through Adross St. in Applecross, checking out the lovely Jacaranda trees and also nice houses. It was around lunch hour and we thought we might give Next Cafe (A car theme cafe) a try, we found out that they only do cakes and coffee and some sandwich, we were both pretty hungry then and we thought maybe we'll go for a proper meal just opposite possible at Sensations en Adross.

Next thing we know, we were seated in Jacs Cafe & Pizzeria because we both loves their lovely purple interior.

It's actually a very small but quaint little place, decorated with soft purple tone, very girly and it feels like home too!

Small seasonal menu to match with their small size restaurant. If you'd come for dinner, they also do woodfired pizza too! (that's a plus)

After scanning through their rather small menu ( I personally prefer small menu cuz that would mean the chef focus on the quality of food instead of opting for frozen, quick meals), we ordered a Tuna dish and a Fish of the day. Judging from their menu, i really wish that the food is up to the scratch!

Sesame & peppercorn tuna loin, sweet potato gallette, seared endive, tomato & mustard vinaigrette

Good Quality China: checked

They do live up to expectation, their food didn't disappoint us! Both fish dishes were really fresh, flavours was well balance and the portion is just big enough for room for desserts.  We saw our next table guest ordered souffles, and it does look good, we hurried to finish our mains and head straight to desserts.

Combination of Rubra coffee & made-to-order Mango souffle with Vanilla Bean Cream Anglaise

No doubt, i would hurried back to try their dinner menu or perhaps just for the souffles (because their souffles is really really that awesome), especially when i am making trip to The Good Grocer just next door.
